Rido Assisted adds practical hands-on assistance before and after the ride. It is designed for seniors and anyone who would appreciate extra help with luggage, airport navigation, terminal accompaniment, or getting from the public arrivals area to the vehicle.
No. Rido assistance is limited to publicly accessible airport areas. For departures, assistance may continue toward the airport security entrance but does not extend into restricted areas.
No. Airport pickups use an agreed public arrivals meeting location.
Pickups between 8:00 PM and 5:59 AM require an additional $10 overnight/early-morning surcharge.
Yes. The surcharge applies to Basic, Comfort, and Assisted rides when the requested pickup time is between 8:00 PM and 5:59 AM.
The current Rido vehicle is generally planned for up to 3 passengers, subject to luggage requirements. We'll reach out if adjustments are needed ahead of pickup.
Yes. Long-distance rides throughout Nova Scotia can be requested and are reviewed based on route and schedule.
Airport Return Match is a separate limited-availability service that may be offered when a Rido vehicle is already returning from Halifax Stanfield Airport toward Halifax. It is not the standard airport pickup price.
